All of our threaded rod sections feature cut threads which means they start off as the full size round stock and threads are cut into the material. The plain finish is designed for indoor use only where there aren't any chemicals or solvents present.

This 1/2" all-thread worked well for my purpose. I used the rod to prevent further damage to a tree that had heavy snow damage in the past. By "tying" two large limbs together I prevent further splitting at the truck.

I did not use these as designed. I used them to help us move a 8x10 shed across my yard. It’s a long story but these were super strong and made the move of the shed very easy.
