Haven't started using these plans, I'm waiting for better weather in backyard shop. Upon reading the plans through twice, I think I'll be able to build this chest with some effort, since my wood working skills are in the initial stages. The details in the plans seem to cover the important issues I'll encounter during the building process.

This plan features very easy to follow, step-by-step instructions. Additionally, the diagrams and cut list are clear and helpful. This plan was a great buy for this beginner wood worker.

My husband has already started making this piece. The diagrams and instructions are laid out very, very well. He has made one of these before; but it has been awhile. So far, he has had no problems and states the instructions are very good. Very detailed. He calls it not work; but playing. I would recommend these instructions to anyone who has the knowledge of working with wood.

I feel the description was misleading - this was not a "beginner" project - my father, whose been doing wood working for decades, didn't even have all the tools to do this project. I was looking for a decorative but fairly simple project to work on - instead I never used the plans and created my own. A waste of money.

Structurally its find. But how do you move it? No casters, and no means of picking it up. All the bottom trim and basic frame is flush to the floor. However its very good looking and I will use the plan with a few modifications. The plan itself is thorough and complete.Thanks for the fast service
