The straps themselves hold up to abrasion better than the straps I've bought from H.D or H.F. The locking clips not only keep the straps from falling off if they come lose, but I've found it is MUCH easier to tie stuff down when I'm by myself now. No need to hold tension on the strap as you walk around the trailer to the other side so it doesn't fall out of the hooks. Rubber grips are nice when it's cold outside too.
