Prior to this purchase, I was blowing through rolls of terrible improvement/ranch supply store weed eater string and of trimmer string, none were up for the match of weed-eating around cinderblock, concrete, or wooden 4X4” posts. After some searching, I found this gnarly looking string and decided to give it a try. It is significantly thicker, and the gator teeth make for a nice sharp edge to whip through thick weeds. I used it on my whole acre-sized property for 2 hours, and only had to feed more string through the weedeater head slots twice. Definitely measure your weed eater string slots before purchasing- some lighter-duty weedeaters may not be able to use this string, because of its thickness. Mine barely squeaked by, fortunately. 10/10 I’d recommend to everyone!

This square .155"/4mm string is the best I've found for my Senix 22" high-wheeled gas trimmer. It is stiffer, cuts better with its square (four-sided) design, and lasts significantly longer. Extremely aggressive on mixed brush and saplings up to 1". I am now ordering the .175"/4.3mm triangular sawtooth string from this manufacturer for side-by-side comparison testing.

This stuff really works, chops through thick brush like butter. Last forever compared to the precut stuff you can find at hardware stores like Home Depot and Lowe's. I was able to cut a few acres of land on just a strand of this stuff.I will say, this is my fault, don't leave it out in the sun for months. The UV rays from the sun will weaken the material this is made out of, and while it's still amazing the difference between brand new and sun soaked stuff is huge. When that roll is up, I will definitely be buying more of this product I'll just keep it stored properly.

I wanted to give this twisted line a try and for the price, it’s a good deal.I know this sounds odd but the line almost works too well. What I mean is, it’s so strong you have to be careful when you’re using it on regular grass, it can scalp the grass if you’re not careful. But, it works great on thicker grass and those tough weeds where you’ll want that tougher string.The line is stiffer than the same size line but different brand that I’ve been using but it wound fine around my spool and I was able to put the same amount on the spool that I normally do. The line fed normally as it should when I bumped the trimmer head on the ground. I can truthfully say, I did not use as much line as I did with the former brand I was using.I’m fairly certain this line is going to last quite a while. It’s tough, cuts well and the amount you get on the spool is substantial. It’s a good deal and a bargain for what it costs.

Seems to do the job , no breaking , wears down quicker than the 105 black diamond line I was using , the 95 thickness of this product works well and the cost factor is far better

This was the second time I have purchased this item The first time it got a 5 star rating and was absolutely brilliant. This second spool is absolute crap. The line will snap and then I have to respool and get going again and then a minute (or less) later it will snap again. SAME equipment and SAME use.

I have two farms and use all kinds of equipment constantly -- and I really need them to work consistently and effectively. Especially my walk behind trimmer mower to take care of all the grass and brambles that grow up each year in fields and orchards. I really wanted this line to work. The concept of a great cutting line sounded very attractive, particularly if is very touch and durable. This stuff is neither. Using a standard mounting to attach this to the head results in this stuff either breaking or slipping out -- or possibly even cutting itself. Seriously. Sometimes I've only made it a few feet before I'm replace it. And this is over and over and over. The only partial success I had was putting a knot to help hold it in place, but even that improved things a little some of the time. Unfortunately this stuff is a terrible waste of time and money. Maybe the design would work on a standard grass trimmer; I don't know. But on a walk behind in anything more than soft grass it's useless. All lines wear. But this stuff doesn't even get a chance to wear... There is much better line out there and I've found one that is much more durable and effective.

my toro weed Wacker has issues with my 2 acres due to first time clearing. This line is twirled so it holds to the trimmer longer and it gets worn down. I just cut many 22" pieces and go to town on my yard. Once the yard is completed with the first pass things will be smoother. Woth the large amount of line on the spool It will last for a long time.

I bought this line for the value and decent reviews to use with my Ego ST1623T Powerload-capable line IQ (auto-advancing) trimmer. It initially loaded fine and was working, but over time I noticed that it wasn't advancing consistently, and then it stopped loading with the Powerload feature. Thinking it may be a function of the trimmer and not the line, I bought a new head for the trimmer, but at the same time thought I would try line that was more specifically designed for this trimmer, and not just the "right size". Since the new line arrived before the new head, I pulled the old line (this product) out, and tried the new line. It loaded right away. Based on this, maybe I may have to replace the trimmer head at some point, but I am now thinking it was more a function of this line in my model trimmer. Time will tell - I'm anxious to see if the new line advances more consistently. So - while this line seems fine - and while it initially worked on my ST1623T, maybe it's just not the best line in the long run for that model Ego.

Edit: I’ve now been trying to use this line solely for grass and I’m even more unhappy with it . I feel it was a waste of $ considering how little time it lasts compared to LoNoiz line. Will never buy again and may never even use up this big spool that I bought as it’s so bad. I’ve downgraded my rating to 1 star as a result.Original post:I've been using LoNoiz trimmer string for the past couple of years and decided to try this one (A ANLEOLIFE 3-Pound Heavy Duty Twisted .095-inch-by-1181-ft Dual Core String) as it looked pretty much the same in the photos and verbiage sounded good, plus the price was a lot less. $34/3# of this one and $50/3# of the LoNoiz. However, this string does not last long at all compared to the LoNoiz, using it on the exact same brush regrowth I'm trying to keep down. I'm very disappointed with it. The LoNoiz lasts at least 5 times (or more) longer per loading, so in the long run the LoNoiz is a lot less expensive to use. And a lot less hassle having to re-load the trimmer spool so often. Live and learn... and I've already bought two more 3# spools of the LoNoiz string and will put this one on the shelf for using on soft grass, etc. Won't buy it again.

i have had a cub cadet walk behind string trimmer for 4 years with heavy use cutting 3' plus height and up to 5/8" diameter weeds and light scrub. i have used 1000's of feet of line and this is the best one yet. price is competative. the diameter is slightly smaller than .155" but a large slot screwdriver will crimp the openning to make string snugger due to smaller diameter. very happy with this purchase and will definetely be buying again. it cuts more and lasts longer than other brands
