My husband and I love baking, and we love sharing with our friends and neighbors, especially during the holidays. I wrap the cookies, the bread loafs, cakes and other sweets in parchment paper or the pretty paper loaf pans I get from Amazon, and wrap it with the raffia ribbon. It makes a nice and fun presentation, and easier to use than traditional ribbon. I love fraying the ends to make the bow special.

Basically a good product. Although vacuum packaging saves the volume of transportation, it causes the entire roll of rope to suffer extreme compression and loses its three-dimensionality and elasticity in use.

I should have read the previous negative reviews. This product arrived in a flat, squished, vacuum sealed bag, not in 9 nice cylinders as pictured. Trying to reshape just one of these was a challenge to say the least. Not worth the time and effort, even for 4 bucks.

Very impressed with this paper rope/cord. It seems sturdy and decorative. It can be used to wrap presents or as miscellaneous environmentally-friendly string. I use it in place of rubber bands, plastic ties, and wrapping recyclables.

I love that this is on a roll and I can cut the exact length I need!

I can’t recommend these at all. The listing advertises them as nice traditional rolls of paper rope and fails to mention that they are vacuum packed and completely flat. What you are left with after opening is crumpled paper that looks like garbage.

Sadly I use these rolls as ribbon ( for bows) after unwound. Had I known they woud have been vacuum packed flat I would not have purchased. The other set of colorful rolls from different supplier shown for reference ( and easy to unfurl).I have attempted to remove and try to unroll them into ribbons without success so far I'm not sure if the compression made it more difficult to unravel into a flat 1" or so wide ribbon. The cats are fascinated though... until the blue cloud appears above me as I try once again to unravel a section. So if you use as twine it's a bit flat but ok. Ribbon will be difficult at best to attempt.

I’ve yet to use this product, but why on earth would you actually vacuum seal paper ribbon? Instructions say to “gently pinch to reshape”. It took my mechanic husband squeezing with BOTH hands to even get one of these paper hockey pucks to open at all. I get that it’s inexpensive, but this is ridiculous. Just know what you’re getting yourself into, should you plan on purchasing these
