These load in a magazine, feed, and eject without problems. There are no instructions provided, but I have to assume the small tool provided (looks like a phone sim card ejection tool) is intended to change out the replacement pads. If that's the case, the tool is useless and the pin bent and broke off trying to pry the pad out. Not a big deal, since I probably would have lost the tool before I actually needed to replace a worn out pad anyway. I'll just plan on needing a small screwdriver or pry tool if the time comes.If true dimensions are important to you: Compared to a UMC 115 grain, using a caliper, they are slightly smaller in diameter at 9.50mm+-.02mm vs 9.62mm +-.01mm at the case neck, and slightly longer at 29.40mm vs 28.20mm in total length. They are also slightly lighter than a UMC 115 grain at uniformly just under 9 grams vs a standard 12 grams (all 10 weighed 88 grams total vs 10 115 grain rounds at 130 grams).Since they're steel, and harder than brass or aluminum (and probably even steel case factory ammo) I'd rather they be slightly undersized than oversized to avoid jamming a round in the chamber. I'm also going to keep cycling to a minimum if using these to keep from wearing out the ejector on the hard steel.The weight doesn't really matter to me in function, and I don't expect dummy round snap caps to be identical at this price. But, it matters in me principle since the listing touts "precision" and an average 8.8 grams is significantly off of the stated 10 grams, which was really the only measurement provided.

These dummy rounds work as intended. They appear to be built well and should last some time. They show little wear after a few cycles and the wear is superficial. There are some small scoring marks from manufacture but they don’t interfere with operation. The ‘click’ of the hammer and pin are somewhat louder than other silicone-backed dummies that I’ve used but the silicone is indented after a handful of uses. These show marks from the firing pin but wear is superficial.My biggest complaint would be a lack of chamfering on the rear rim of each round. This lack of chamfering makes it difficult for the extractor to slip over the casing rim and results in the extractor blocking the slide from fully locking forward. It’s best practice to pull the slide fully rearward and release from this position rather than ‘easing’ the slide forward and this generally results in a good feed. I’ll report back if this changes. The last two images are of a Hornady Critical Defense round to compare chamfering on the rim.Overall I’m happy with the product and would buy again given the opportunity.
