Unfortunately the product doesn't fit properly and leaks. I had it installed by an experienced professional mechanic so it's not an installation issue. Had to buy the factory OEM part and pay additional for the second installation.I guess you get what you pay for. This part was 1/3rd the cost of OEM but I won't make that mistake again.I do not recommend this part.

Fit perfectly. Extra gaskets are a plus. Cheaper price than a lot of other sites

I replaced this part in a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.6L. There are a lot of videos available online for this repair, and while it is not quick or simple, the replacement is manageable and (hopefully) permanent. Using a service manual (Chilton, Haynes) was very helpful. Customer service was excellent and timely in helping me resolve issues in completing the repair.A few tips:1) Make sure all gaskets are accounted for and lubricated, especially the one fitted around the tube that extends below the filter. Failing to lubricate the tube gasket can cause damage (pinching) leading to what appears to be a failed part and post installation leaking. If the gasket is damaged, it will need to be replaced before re-attempting installation.2) Make sure the sensor wiring (terminations below the oil cooler, wrapped in aluminum tape) is clear of the bolt posts before seating the cooler. This can cause a faulty installation that can look like a failed part by preventing the assembly from seating completely (pinching the wiring) causing major post-installation leaking and potentially damaging the wiring harness. Repositioning the wiring and reseating the oil cooler can resolve this issue.3) Depending on the vehicle model year, the new filter may not be the same as the filter used in the original oil cooler. The filter that fits this oil cooler housing is the filter for a 2014 and newer 3.6L Pentastar Engine.Hope this helps and happy repairs! Cheers!!

I’m a mobile mechanic doing this for a living. Gave this part a shot for a customer. It’s been 3 weeks installed no issues and no leaks. Looks like cast crap like any other aluminum part, but it did look better than the leaking old one I pulled out. Oil sensor had a high pressure issue for first 5 minutes of running, then it cleared up and ran perfect with perfect oil pressure. I’m a mechanic so this takes me 30-45 minutes to install. Super easy work if you aren’t a complainer and have any clue of what you’re doing. It’s like 16 8mm bolts and some vacuum hoses.

Fit and finish are excellent. At first I was skeptical as all the big box auto stores were closer to $200 for the same product. Came with all necessary components.

Just installed, Nice product, looks well made, everything seems good so far, no leaks, no codes! Some people complain of setting off codes due to the sensors that it comes with!I have no problem with the sensors so far no codes nothing! Fingers are crossed, I don't want to have to take it apart again for leaking, because it's an involved job in order to change it out!!So at this point I would give it 5 stars, hopefully it will stay that way? Absolutely worth the money, I would recommend so far! Comes with all the seals, oil filter and sensors, well worth it!! Only negative that I see is, if you would want to consider it a negative is, that I believe it has a plastic oil filter cap like the original, which I don't think truly is a negative and I believe they do have an upgraded one for a few dollars more, that is an aluminum cap!The problem with original OEM unit is the body of that assembly unit which is plastic and warps or cracks and that winds up leaking, the body of this new assembly is all aluminum with the exception of the cap! I will give updates in the future!***Update*** so far about 1,500 miles & 2 months , no leaks everything is dry and good, also no codes!!👍Hopefully it'll stay this way!!I will provide future updates for other customers who may want to purchase!** 2nd Update** February 26th 2025No leaks, No codes, working perfectly dry as a bone! About 4 months since the install and about 4,000 miles! I am aretired auto technician, and would absolutely highly recommend this part you cannot go wrong especially for the amount of money, the original replacement will cost 4x the amount I believe or more and is still plastic!! I believe if the part is installed correctly you will not have a problem in my opinion!!👍👍I will give future updates to keep other people informed for quality and longevity!
