I believe these are only plated in silver, the o rings have not lasted. It’s not tarnish, I own tons of real silver and know tarnish. These are just cheap metal under a very thin silver plate.

This brand are the good ones. My previous order from a different company said they were sterling silver, but they were steel. Not what I was looking for make sure if you are looking for sterling silver that there is a visible 925 on the item.
