These were not as heavy duty as I was expecting. They don’t feel like they’re very high quality. We will see how long they last.

I'm kinda doubtful of how long these will last. They're made of kinda hard brittle feeling plastic. I was afraid of breaking them putting them over the shifter shaft. After being careful not to break them, I got the shaft back to it's mounting point and put the first strap over the bushing and shaft and the bolt hole wasn't lining up. In the end, i was forced to use my old straps which was disappointing because they had wear spots cause of the bushing being gone so long. It is a 22 year old truck. FYI if your are going to DIY this, no it's not hard but watch a couple vids on YT cause you will break your shift indicator wire. And as far as I know that part has been discontinued.
