The listing includes pictures with 4 or 5 thermowells of different sizes but only I received one item, and it shows signs of wear. Sending it back as I’ve bought a few of these and my other lengths looked better for a lower price.

I am using the factory temp probe on an inkbird ipb-16, in my hot liquor tank that has a 50 foot heat exchange coil in it, and I needed a short thermowell. This thermowell fit my hlt without coming into contact with the coil inside.

The product was on point for price, but I had to drill the orifice, to slide the thermometer in place so it would thread. Maybe I ordered the wrong one. Wasn’t a huge problem either way.

I use this in conjunction with the Johnson Controls Digital Thermostat and a few other things to help control a liquid cooled jacketed fermenter. This really allows the temperature probe to get down into the liquid.

Very well made thermowell. Threads are high quality and the welds are seamless and smooth. I installed it as part of my HERMS brewing system (see photo). The port is large enough for a Johnsons Controller probe, but does need to be held in place. I used some foam insulation from some packing material and it works fine. It also insulates the probe for better temperature readings.

The thermowell has a good build quality. The unit works well with my brew kettle and the heat transfer is adequately accurate.
