Ok i first one to start by saying everything was wrapped up tight in bubble wrap, everything came in one piece and was not heard rattling around in the box. With that said, this is a great buy for the price. I am happy with everything and the size of it all is perfect for making jewelry. The amount one can melt is perfect for jewelry needs though I wouldnt try to melt to much in one go as the crucibles are not large. In the images above I have put them all side by side and also one with my hand to show everyone the actual size of them and the quartz plates. The large crucible looks to be able to cast a pretty large bar so it does offer that in the term of weigh-able amounts. I have easily melted 10 gram bars in the bowl crucible and did a 7grm bar before this review and it is pictured in the image above with the bowl crucible. The 2 graphite stir sticks though not pictured came in one piece and packaged in a tube with bubble wrap. The tongs are damn perfect size for this set. Do not count on these tongs to be long enough to use in a outdoor forge or furnace. It isnt that they are not material enough because they are, but they just are not long enough. They are perfect size for this set and indoor smelting at jewelers levels or to make little ingots our of your precious metals. I recommend this set if your looking for a nice start up station for jewelry and solder station.

It's been a year into my silver melting adventure. Through a thousand mistakes, thousands of degrees, and hundreds of ounces of silver these are all still functional and effective. Crucible is about finished but still works as it's what I've used the most. Very durable and cost effective investment, started my silver journey and will outlast most people's attention span lol.

First thing I did after looking everything over was to try and open the thongs. THEY ARE PATHETIC AND TAKE 2 HANDS TO OPEN. THONGS VERY DIFFICULT TO HOLD CUPEL!! I WONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
