Making portable hauling car racks and these work great for joints with wingnuts so you can assemble and disassemble them for storage. Use the quarter inch down rod at one side of the wood and a tan nut with This rod in wingnut to tighten them together. Use remove the wingnuts and all the separate wooden pieces, apart, wrap them up with a string and put them in the corner to the the next time you need your rack.
