Where has this product been? What a great idea.I love being able to decorate my cupcakes or cookies with piped on frosting with decorative tips, but it's really difficult. Trying to hold the tip to/in the carrot bag with one hand and squeeze it with the other hand (especially with thicker cream cheese frostings) is a pain. This gadget solves this problem.To use: Cut a hole in the tip of the carrot bag. Remove the collar from the coupler and stuff the coupler through the hole, via the inside of the bag, narrow end first. Make sure the carrot bag covers the threads. Place the the decorative tip over the end of the coupler. Then, screw the collar on the the coupler over the tip and the carrot bag to hold them in place. Easy-peasy.This coupler holds the bag and the decorative tip together firmly, so decorating is simple and easy. The tips can also easily be changed at any time by unscrewing the collar and attaching another tip. There are eight of these in the package, so I can have up to eight different colors and frosting tips ready to use at one time. I probably won't need this many, but it's nice to have them if I do.These couplers are made of a thick, sturdy plastic that is dishwasher safe. I have washed these in the flatware basket of my dishwasher, on the heated dry setting, with no issues. These should last for years of use.The retail price at the time of this review is $7.79 which comes out to less than a dollar per piece, and it's the best price on Amazon. This is a must-have item for decorating with piping bags. I'm looking forward to using this system this holiday season for my food decorating projects, and I'm inspired to try new ideas because I found this great item. My rating: FIVE STARS!

This is a pack of 8 sets of couplers for use with piping bags and tips! I've had cheep flimsy couplers in the past that couldn't be washed in the dishwasher without melting away to a mess! These couplers, however, have been great! At first glance I thought they were to large, they are not! I never realized just how large the back end of regular icing tips really are! These couplers fit perfectly! They fit on disposable piping bags very well. They fit very well on the non-disposable (cloth) piping bags! No more stuffing icing tips into the end of the piping bags! The tips are held in place very well with these couplers!And even better; they were washed in the dishwasher-top rack only-with no issue! So you can get more than a few uses out of these before having to replace them! I am very happy with these couplers and I sure do recommend them to anyone that would like to quickly and easily change out icing tips on your bags of icing!Another great thing to keep in mind; they cost less than a dollar a piece and have much much better quality than anything at those big box stores!
