These dividers are the best! Very easy to cut and install. This is my second purchase. Highly recommend!

I don't know where the positive reviews on this item are coming from, but I ended up throwing mine away. Less than accurate description part 1) Can be cut with scissors - if by scissors they mean garden shears. I tried kitchen scissors, aquarium scissors, craft scissors and with a TON of effort ... maybe. 2) Because they're such a pain to cut with scissors, no they won't fit any tank. Because of the sheared off hanging edges, my fish swam right past the sides (and under the bottom). 3) Still won't fit any tank. If you don't have a substrate in your tank, 1.5" fish CAN and WILL swim under the divider. 4) Poorly cut connections - The dividers are supposed to fit together by pressing the connectors together. I'm sure it would work great if all the connectors were well cut. But they aren't. A lot of them have hanging edges. So I ended up having to stand on some of the panels to get the connectors to fit into the hole. 5) Holds water like crazy. If you take this divider out of the tank, be sure to bang it against the side of the tank at least once. I only shook it a little and sat it on my floor and I ended up having to get a towel to get the water up. Bottom line - I won't buy anything from this company again. I'm not sure they actually tried their product before they decided to sell it to people.

I bought these to divide our ten gallon tank. They are a little difficult to cut down to size but once cut, it worked well to separate our female betas.

It works well for it's intended purpose, but is really hard to snap together. I had to use a hobby blade to clean a lot of flashing and reshape the interlocking keys to fit into each other. Don't cut this with any scissors... you will regret it, and so will your hand. Use wire cutters/snips. It is very tough to cut and made from good plastic. I didn't use it for a fish tank, but used it to separate 2 of my female whip scorpions and has withstood them trying to pinch through the grate and their digging. Much better quality than a mesh or metal screen tank divider for sure.

I was surprised by how many pieces there were. I was able to snap them together easily, and I had several left over that I used to make shelfs for my axolotls to sit on. Very versatile and simple. The suction cups seems to be sturdy.

These are ok, but not for baby fish. Plus if you do use it for smaller fish 3 wks or older, you'll need to close off the sides. Instead of using the suction cups, I cut some of my siphon hose and used it in place of the suction cups. Closes the gaps and stops the baby fish from getting around the screen. If you eed something for small babies, do not buy this. 3/4" fish or bigger otherwise they will get through the grid.

Highly recommended for 24x12 aquarium cover. I cut out holes using a scissors easily for external filter and auto feeder, happy with this purchase
