Though these are to look like bugs in amber, they are actually in a good clear resin, which allows clear viewing of their parts. They make good items for introducing geology or biology in a fun way. There is a hole pre-drilled into the top of each teardrop, should you want to hang them.

Nonetheless, they are a large size and impressive. The creatures are preserved nicely and posed well to see all their features. Holes are drill in the smaller lobe for hanging, which is cool.

Making dinosaur art display for kids. Put these in a shadow box showing only the insect so their semetrical casting would not look so fake.

I liked the size of it. It has a lot of details and are well preserved. The shape they were put in was cool.

Look just as pictured, fairly large. Im not sure they are true amber fossils, more of insects in amber colored resin. But honestly the real ones usually have smaller bugs in odd positions, these are all well preserved bugs and make it easy to see all of its body parts. Overall happy with them and so are my kids.
