I love how easy this makes putting away Christmas lights. A chore I truly dislike. This made it more bearable. And knowing they are not getting tangled up in a tote all year really relaxes my nerves for next season. These are great

My husband loves these! It made such a difference in the organization of our Christmas lights.We tend to deck out our home for Christmas and have so many different kinds of lights that NEVER seem to fit back into original boxes. So finding a way to store the strands and not have them all tangled together is great. We bought totes to store them in and wrapped them around these to store in the totes. Will be buying more !

For reference: used for C9 style 33ft 50 bulb light strands.Each holder will accommodate 1 strand of C9 lights...MAX. There is no way i could see getting more than 1 strand per holder.Which is cool...it came with 8 holders. So there are plenty for holding my outdoor lights this year.There are 4 grooves (1 per end per side) for holding the end of the light strand, and it's super easy to roll them using the 2 handles.Fair warning: I am very "extra" with my Christmas storage. So, I was happy to see the grooves on both ends that the wires can sit in & the holes in the center are big enough to allow for C9 sized light bulbs. Yay!These are a very good option for C9 christmas light lovers. Definitely sturdy enough for a strand of 50 lights. Buy an additional set if you need to store more that 8 strands of these bigger style lights.Another poster mentioned using them for cables & cords, which is brilliant! I can imagine these would be idea for that application as well!

We finally broke down our Christmas scene this week and we got to finally use these bad boys!! My husband is the one who took off all the lights and twirled them on the lights holder. He mentioned that it would do fine throughout the years and it only holds one strand of lights at a time. This set comes with 12 individual light holders so it should be plenty for a tree full of lights. Since both my husband and I are a bit fanatical on how we pack Christmas away, we both loved that this device would ensure that the lights didn't tangle from year after year.Do not pile more than one strand of light on at a time, it is not THAT sturdy enough to handle it. Be careful when adding any strand of light to it as you need to make sure you take off as much of the lights from your tree first before adding it to the holder. Twirling it on directly from off the tree is liable to bend the plastic in the hard to reach areas and snap it in two. This is a one piece device that comes fully set up. It looks just as pictured and comes in an airtight sealing around it.Great little necessity to make Christmas so much easier! Highly recommend!

only holds about 300 min Christmas lights very sturdy and will help when restringing the lights next year

When trying to put light wraps on them, I can only get two strands on them at most (100 lights each). They do a good job, but the capacity is very limited. I am glad there were 12 of them.
