The product was sent to me used and bent. It was supposed to be a new item.

This tool worked great to remove and install the upper A arm bushings on my 1957 Ford!

Item does what it is supposed to do- but could be made a bit stronger. Removed 2 upper arm bushings and the receiving cup is a bit deformed right by the cutout- not very thick walled material. Will last someone a few times- but can't recommend if you plan on multiple removals. Or replace the receiving cup and it should be ok to do a lot of bushings.

worked for the car i was working on but the cups were not hardened and the removal cup bent to a unusable state at first atempt had to use an adapter from a ball joint press to finish

Best tool I’ve found for pushing bushings in or out at a decent price. Doesn’t tear up the arm or the bushing and requires only modest effort. Appears to be built to last.

Great little kit. Just grease up thread, penetrating fluid on bushings, place cup edge fully on control arm and pushed out 56 year old bushings perfectly. Pushed in new bushings easy too. Will tackle lower arms soon, but can't see why this kit wouldn't handle these easily too.

I have only used the tool to do one control arm and the "cup" with a notch cut out of it bent some on the first use. It appears that the "cup" is made from thin mild steel where the rest of the parts are from a different grade steel. If you are buying it for a one and done job, this will likely be fine for you. But, if you are buying to add to your arsenal of tools for the long term, you might be disappointed.

Really happy with this tool! Saved so much time and hassle! Replaced upper and lower control arm bushings on my 1960 Impala. This tool didn't quite work by itself out of box, I had to use one of the adapters from a ball joint kit I have. I expected to need some sort of adapter though as that's pretty typical when working with these kinds of tools. The one cup that comes with the tool is cut out a bit too much and ends up tilting and just plain doesn't work at all. It really needs the support of a full cup instead of one that's been "cut in half" for clearance. Overall I am extremely happy with this tool and would definitely buy it again! Make sure you have some ball joint adapters to make full use of this tool.
