I purchased this adapter ring to work with a Raynox DCR-250 macro lens. My Canon 100mm macro lens has a 67mm filter thread and the Raynox is 43mm. You could stack multiple step down rings but this works well and is not as thick. The Raynox comes with a plastic snap-in lens adapter but I wanted something that held more securely. The adapter is very well made, the threads fit nicely and it is all metal construction.

Fits my new lens and allows me to use filters from other Nikon lens. That is what I wanted / needed. Can't comment on durability, hopefully I will continue to be satisfied with performance.

Received the step down ring which I intend to use with a solar filter to shoot the upcoming eclipse. The ring is well made. For the price (which was extremely reasonabnle since this is most likely going to be a one use thing) , I expected a little play in the threading. No - the fit was perfect and solid. This is a well made item that is deserving of my 5 stars. it is going on a Sigma 150-600 lens. Like I said i probably won't have a need for it again, but I think I'm going to leave it on. It 's that well made.

This is a "step down" ring which allows me to use a filter that's 5 millimeters smaller in diameter than the front of the lens - the diameter difference is small enough so for what I'm using it (solar photography) there's no vignetting or other image degradation at the middle of the field where the solar disc is imaged.

This thing gets stuck allllll the time. Makes me uncomfortable putting anything on and I’ve decided to trash it. Find another one.

Have a dozen Hoya specialty filters from a 52mm lens camera that I wanted to use with a Tamron 67mm lens. This 67mm to 52mm adapter ring works perfectly. Nicely machined so it screws on smoothly. Very pleased with the purchase.

I often use step up rings with my lenses and these Amotok rings are nice.I am using the 82 to 95mm step-up ring and it threads on and off the lenses smoothly and filters attach easily, without much fuss. It has a nice finish and looks good on the lens.$15+ bucks each is a bit steep in my opinion, I would rather pay $20 for two...I say that because I need two and when it's all done it amounts to just under $35 bucks total...which seems like a lot of dough for two rings of metal.Overall, these step up rings perform well and look good doing it. I am happy with my purchase...

I have an older Sony alpha 5100 camera with the Sony stock zoom lens of 16-50 and that takes a 40.5mm filter. All I had to do was get this step up ring for a 40.5 to 77mm and I can use various 77mm filters, which are easier to find. This step up ring fit perfectly, just screwed right on. And I got an ultra dark ND filter and that fit perfectly over the top of this step up ring. This is a very well-engineered step up ring.
