Installation Instructions
Ensure the engine is OFF before removing the current micro SD navigation card.
Insert the new SD card.
Turn ON your car; the system will update automatically. DO NOT TURN OFF THE ENGINE UNTIL THE UPDATE IS COMPLETE.
The update process may take 10-20 minutes.
No additional uploading or programming is required.
Note: Ensure your vehicle uses a micro SD card for navigation

RAV4 2016, Navigation Map updated to Aug 2023 after installing SD card. It was easy.

In past years, when I have updated the navigation, I had to wait for the radio to update.After swapping this new "2024" card into the microSD card slot, I turned on the engine, and I did not get a message about updating at all.However, the map data now has a 2023-08-01 time stamp. It shows the version as: 05-43-51.Hopefully this will be OK...Has anyone else run into this?
