We needed three matching frames with mats for undergrad and graduate degrees. These were beautiful! In the past I’ve spent $350 for a custom frame for diplomas, but these are just as beautiful. Make a special note of the size you’re ordering since the mat needs to factored in to your frame size.

This frame is beautiful! The cherry wood color is a deep dark red that adds a bit of sophistication to the frame and contrasts nicely with the gold rim. The back has two hooks to hang horizontal or vertical, and a stand in case you want to keep it on your desk top. The wood feels adequately tough for a picture frame... I would not build furniture out of it, but definitely sturdy enough to hold a piece of paper.I also like the red border that helps provide a border around your diploma. It can be a little tricky getting your diploma in the dead center of the frame. If you are like me and slight deviations bother you, then expect to take a few tries before you get the diploma exactly where you want it. You may get it perfect and then discover that a piece of hair or debris got closed in with the glass... And I just cannot have a piece of hair starring down on me from its lofty perched position on the wall... judging me... mocking me... So expect to take a few tries before you get it perfect.All around this is a lovely frame and I would recommend!
