Beautiful cup worthy of the prophet and that's why I use it at my Seder as the Elijah cup.

Item looks just as pictured and was of beautiful quality. It was delivered in time for the event, and now it is displayed in our living areas as a beautiful decore. I highly recommend this item as it appears to be of good quality and reasonable price.

Pros:-First thing I noticed was the weight. It has some heft to it which adds to the quality feel of it.-the silver plating makes the cup much brighter in person than in the picture.Cons-The inside of the cup looks like it’s been deburred with a grinder. There’s about an inch of shiny plating on the inner part of the cup and then it looks dull and scratched from there, down. Not a big deal but worth mentioning.- there are mold lines on the sides of the cup which undercut the feeling of quality that the weight and finish give to it.Overall: It’s a great kiddush cup for a great price.

The cup is nice design, it is just the right size, not overly bulky and not too small.I like the design on the sides of the cup, although there was no explanation enclosed to tell me what the scene is. The scene that is on the cup is that of a city design from Biblical times. I am thinking that it is Old Jerusalem, but since they didn't say it is hard for me to tell. The base that the cup sits on continues this design and is very complimentary to the cup. Both cup and saucer are Silver Plated. This provides a bright cup that is very attractive. Be sure to keep the cup and saucer wrapped in a protective cloth or China Wrapping paper. Remember also that silver might have a tendency to dim or tarnish a bit. So, be sure you have a good Silver Cleaner available so that you can polish your cup and saucer before use in the Seder Dinner. The cup is heavy, thus it will not tip over easily at all. It is a solid single construction unit, the stem is a molded part of the cup, so there are not two pieces that could break.I like the feel of the cup, it is easy to hold, simple in design and well balanced. This cup reminds me of the heavy pewter cups that we received from Germany. I really like the feel and weight of the cup.
