The included instructions are worthless. They don't pertain to the hardware on the stuff I recieved. Also the bottom of my struts don't have the ball on the bottom (see my picture for the difference) so it takes a little more finagling to get everything lined up.Undo the two bolts on the bottom and then you can twist the whole strut off. Screw the upper bolt in. Pull the stick or whatever you're using to prop the hatch up and raise the hatch beyond its usual top and you can get the bottom 2 bolts aligned. Recommend you alternate tightening the two bolts at least until their both well into their threads. Repeat for the other side. So far seems to be solid though and with a very nice balance of support but still being fairly easy to close.

After ordering hood struts twice from other companies, only to have delayed shipment, I was so happy when I ordered from SKYRSS and actually received the struts when promised. It was easy to install them, they fit perfectly and worked as they should. Quality struts, quick delivery and good price....I definitely recommend them.
