This box was easy to assemble on a blanket. Stores outdoor pillows, keeping them dry and clean between being brought out for use.

Love it. Tricky to start assembly because the instructions have no words and the part #s are embossed, so tilt them in the light to see them. Tip: When you start assembling, the bottom should have the part number facing up. It took quite a while to figure that out with no words and a vague picture for that step. After that, it was quick & easy to assemble. Happy that my deck umbrella fits in diagonally so I don’t need to spend 3 times as much on an upright storage unit. It does great in the rain! Sturdy enough for me.

We have a large patio area 20 x 30 and heavily use that space in warmer months w cushioned seating, rugs, blankets for cool evenings, tools for plant container projects, etc. These containers are a great size. If you plan how you are going to stack and layer in things you will be amazed. The lid is hinged and supported and has a locking ring. It shuts tightly and even windy rainy days the stored materials stay dry. We bought three(3) and pushed them to the edge of the space in a row. They did not crowd our entertaining space and have been strong enough that we can place other items on lid without a problem. I’ve been recommending them to all my friends with outdoor entertaining space. It takes two people to snap them together but one person can use an electric drill to fasten rails and hinges. It was an excellent choice for keeping us looking tidy and organized

I got this because I have a cargo rack on the back of my camper, but I got tired of securing things to it with straps and then covering it up with a waterproof tarp. I got this deck box and securely mounted it to my rack, so now I have a trunk! So far it appears to be reasonably waterproof and as sturdy as you'd expect.I took a star off because the way they have of "locking" it is very flimsy, small, and completely plastic. This did not concern me because I installed two hasps with steel backplates so that I could secure it against a casual thief.

This 100 gal storage box is perfect for the deck to keep pillows and odds and ends out of the elements. The instructions were very clear, packaged well and only a Philips head screwdriver is need for the hydraulic arms, the main pieces just stap together. Build quality is great for the price point and I ordered black and the color matched my expectations. Highly recommend, took about 10-15 mins to complete assembly.

For the price, this 80 gal box is ok. I bought this based on the 4 and 5 star reviews but noticed later on, that the reviews praising the sturdiness are for the smaller boxes. The 80 gal one is definitely not as sturdy as it could be, the individual pieces are very flimsy and bendable, which makes assembly difficult and realistically need either thicker material or reinforcement down the middle.Speaking of assembly. It took me way too long and watching several YT videos, to figure out that the BOTTOM piece needs to be assembled with the FINISHED part INSIDE. Once I figured that out, miraculously the pieces snapped together nicely and without fuss.Again. For anyone having problems snapping the small side pieces onto the bottom: the SMOOTH side with the D printed on, ends up on the INSIDE of the finished box. (Intuitively one wants to assemble it with the finished/smooth side on the outside, this is incorrect and will have you question your sanity for hours trying to snap the pieces together).Assembly instructions do NOT make this part clear whatsoever and need to be overhauled just for this oversight alone.Overall I don’t regret buying this when it was on sale but I would not buy full price for it. It’s just not sturdy enough.

Once together, this is perfectly fine storage box. Seems sturdy enough, and although it has a faux weave thing going on, it's solid plastic, so water should have a hard time finding a way in. That's once you get it assembled. In point of fact, the assembly isn't all that difficult, provided you understand that every single connection will require a solid thump to persuade it. But it took me a while to resign myself to that. The problems begin with the worldless instructions -- all drawings. If they'd done much of anything to make the drawings specific enough to make clear which pieces they referred to, it might have been more straightforward. But you'll need to dope that out. The small pieces are the end sides, so figure which side pieces look like they want to fit into them. Then understand that the while drawings don't actually tell you to flip the partly assembled box around, you'll need to, the better to deliver a reasonable thump to the connections, while bracing the back side. The hardest part was getting the corners to connect, because they require that two of the connections drop into place more or less simultaneously. Extra persuasion was required there. Then, once the six pieces are all connected, the hinges give you one final, easier test: figuring out which screw holes to use. Work backwards from the screw hole on the side piece nearest the top, find the second screw hole -- the only one that the hinge will fit to with the first screw in, and then connect it to the top. Why manufacturers don't invest a few bucks in writing instructions is a mystery to me. I get that they'd need to do it in many languages, but they know where they're shipping the thing and could make a pretty good guess. Grrrr. Anyway, now that the frustrating assembly is in the rearview mirror, I expect this to serve well. Still, for making the assembly as annoying as they could, this gets three stars.
