These are really good screw. I have used them on a lot of projects. This last batch had probably 5 screws that would not self tap into the metal I was installing them into. If not for that they would have 5 starts in the review. I would buy them again though.

I used these to attach a stainless-steel angle iron support for the flame tamers in the fire chamber of my older Firemagic gas grill. The stainless steel liner was very hard to drill through even using my Dewalt cobalt drill bits. These self tapping screws drilled through the liner. It required a lot of pressure on the drill, but most screws did the job. Highly recommended! I suspect they may rut a little due to the added steel, but that is what made them hard enough to perform well.

I don't know if these are actually 410 stainless ... The package doesn't say so. They seem strong enough. I buried them into wood with my Dewalt power drill. They did not break off at the head like regular stainless screws. Although they are sheet metal screws, I am using them on wood. I drove them into wood to see if the heads would snap off. They did not. I was a little worried about using them in wood as the drill part is almost as wide as the threads ... They do seem to hold somewhat although I could pull them out with a wonder bar. Should work though for what I want.

Umm. They are screws…. Do people look for reviews for screws?Ok…. Here we go…They screwed in beautifully. They hold things together well.

I’m using these screws to replace slings on a patio chair. They were supposed to be button head screws as shown in their photo, but came as a flat head. It ended up working great for this application though. The drilling heads ate into the aluminum diaphragm of the chair like it wasn’t there.
