Does a lovely job and last well if you’re not too heavy handed. Decent value for money as you can save by not buying sanding belts before time.

This type of sanding belt cleaner works great, and this particular one is no different. Excellent for unclogging your sanding belts- just touch it on a running belt and watch the debris get cleaned off. Works well, recommended.

I have not used this yet as I still have another unused one, and one currently in use. But I do use these often. I have multiple large machine sanders, and a large collection of hand-held sanders. And have learned to always the the medium during and after use. The sanding medium last much longer. These are very much worth it, and do last a while even with constant use. This one appears no different than the others I have, and have used.

Sandpaper does its job and removes material to create a smooth surface, but with this rubber Abrasive Cleaning Eraser Stick, I can extend the life of whatever sandpaper I’m using whether is it on my belt sander or one of my orbital sanders. I’ve also used it for hand sanding blocks that use hook & loop fasteners to hold paper.By using this rubber stick to remove the material from the sandpaper, I’m saving money on the replacement paper. It is my first go-to when the sanding isn’t as effective where before I’d change the disc or belt and throw the old one away. Not anymore - so I’m a big fan!

This product from Makiwork arrives with a clear heat-shrink plastic wrapper keeping it nice and clean and after removing that it’s ready for use with practically any abrasive surface that has been gummed up with debris from use.Buying these to leave near your sanding machines or tucked in with your portable sanding tools is a no-brainer if you’re someone who uses any sort of motorised sanding machines or tools. It’s just a big block of natural rubber that you feed into the belt, disc or drum, and it’ll help to dislodge and remove any debris on the surface that is caked onto the belt without harming the sanding grit itself.Even skateboard grip-tape that’s lost its bite can be brought back to an almost new state with a few swipes of this stuff, and it’s a fraction of the cost of the stuff marketed directly to skateboarders.I grabbed this to keep specifically on my workbench and be used with my handheld rotary tools while working on hobby projects. It does the job as advertised and has absolutely zero issues pulling plastic and resin dust from the sanding drums I use.The value for money here is fine, £9.89 is right around what I'd expect to pay for a generic sanding stick rubber of this size, which is the standard size you’d find from most places and brands. You easily grab these exact sticks in multipacks or significantly larger sizes for a little extra money but if you just need one for occasional use this isn’t a horrible option by any means.

Difficult to give pro's and con's, it works. I use it to clean my disk sander disks. These don't do well with the areas where you've sanded knots or heavy sap material, but then again nothing really does. This product does what it says it does, so 5-stars for that. BUT... honestly it doesn't work any better or worse than an old toothbrush. So great product and I'd recommend it if you don't like the toothbrush method, but I probably won't buy anymore of these.
