How to Effectively Use Your Space Saver Bags

To ensure the best performance of our space saver bags, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Fill the Bag: Do not overfill. Ensure that items are placed evenly within the bag, leaving a few inches from the zip seal to avoid overstuffing. Don't overload the space-saver bag: leave about two inches of space from the zipper closure when filling it. This margin helps ensure that the bag can be sealed properly without straining the zipper or seams, allowing for efficient air extraction and maintaining the integrity of the bag over time.
  2. Seal with Care: Close the zip seal securely. For best results, run your fingers along the zipper track to press and seal tightly, ensuring no air escapes.
  3. Remove Air Efficiently: It's important to apply firm pressure to the bag as you roll the bag. Press down harder than usual to ensure all air is extracted. This may require more force than expected to achieve optimal compression.
  4. Check the Seal: After pushing out the air, double-check the zip seal and press down any areas that appear to have air leaks. A good seal keeps the bag compressed and your items protected.

By following these steps, you'll maximize the efficiency of your space saver bags and enjoy a more compact, organized storage solution.

I bought these bags for an upcoming cruise, I was very disappointed because the closure did not seal tight and the bags did not save space in my luggage.

I used these on a five week trip and they worked great at keeping everything compact. I found that there was a way to roll them so that the air came out properly. Read the directions and it they are easy to use.

These travel bags really work. I filled one of the smaller bags with 5 short-sleeve t-shirts, 2 long-sleeve t-shirts and 2 swimming suits. It compressed to the size of 1/3 of a carry-on suitcase. Amazing!

Worked super well and very easy to use. I don’t see them holding up more than a few uses though.

My niece recommended these compression bags for travel and the worked great. I traveled through Paris last year and heard about their bed bug incident. These gave me peace of mind even if I was just transferring.

I cannot rave enough about these! I bought them for a trip to Europe to reduce clothing size for travel. They worked really well with the little plastic bag sealer attachments. I was skeptical at first when I took them out, because they look really cheap. But these bags are incredibly durable. I use them for every trip now. I like to use one as a dirty laundry storage, because they also keep the smell contained once sealed. I highly recommend these for any travel situation

Fit well into suitcases and allowed me to take extra clothes in my carry on. Slider tabs fall off almost immediately but bags still work perfectly without them.

About me: I travel for business frequently. I do not check bags. Ever. I hate arriving early at the airport to check bags. I hate standing in line. I hate waiting for my checked bags at the baggage carousels. I hate baggage fees. The one time that I checked bags, my luggage got lost. I’ve witnessed baggage handlers stand around as luggage fell onto the tarmac. I’ve seen musical instruments thrown. No thank you.I went to France for 8 days with only a large diaper bag and packing cubes, because diaper bags don’t get checked. That’s how serious I am about not checking luggage.-About 4 months ago, I upgraded from the awkward, heavy diaper bag to a Paris Travel Pro. It has 2 wheels and slides under many plane seats and also seats at conferences.-Packing space is lost to two wheels, a stiff frame, and a telescoping handle.-Without the vacuum bags, but with packing cubes, I can fit about 3 panties, 2 thin, tight tee-shirt dresses, a kuel micro-thin rain coat, thin cardigan, 2 bras, 2 pairs of woolford tights, a tee shirt, 1 pair of leggings, 3 pairs of socks, makeup, note pad, pens, 2 phones and accessories, wallet, and keys. It’s tight. Every bit of space is used.-with the vacuum bags, without trying very hard, I fit: 3 tee shirts, 3 thick long-underwear shirts, 6 pairs of panties, 2 athleisure pants, 2 thick long underwear leggings, 8 pairs of socks, 1 pair of Woolford tights, 1 1/2 slip, 1 bra, 4 camisoles, 1 short Calvin Klein dress. To minimize wrinkling, I rolled up my clothes into a large bundle and slid them into a large vacuum bag. I had room to reach into the bag and reshape the roll. I pushed a lot of air out of the zip-lock side and squeezed the bag flat by hugging and sitting on it. I pushed it into my luggage to get the bundle into the right shape. I could have made the bundle smaller but I sacrificed space for fewer wrinkles. I then fit my old dell laptop, cords, 2 phones and accessories, makeup, a small coat, wallet, and keys into the Travel Pro-I’m pleased by the additional packing capability.I’m going to Manhattan for a week in winter. I think with the vacuum bags, I’m going to be fine.

I LOVE these bags! I have ordered 3 sets and will continue to buy them until my house is completely organized. The 2 sizes are great-I can stuff 2 pillows in 1 and compress down to less than 1/2 the size of one pillow, Also would hold 1 comforter or probably 1 or 2 blankets depending on how big they are. I use the smaller ones for clothing, and they hold a lot! Adult womens size, I have fit 10+ t-shirts or 4-5 sweater/sweatshirts in each one. I haven't used them for pants yet. What used to take up 1/2 of the top shelf in my closet is now stacked in 5 of the small bags at the end of the shelf. They are easy to use and actually stay sealed. The manufacturer directions are very good. The only tip I would add is that if you really stuff them full(which I do), before you start rolling from the top put a little pressure on the middle of the bag with your hand and get the vents to pop and start releasing air. Also if you have a hard time getting them started pull the clothing (or whatever) away from the very bottom of the bag. I actually sit on them after I cannot get out any more air with my hands. They would be excellent for traveling. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

These bags are pretty good. I bought them to consolidate space in my suitcase for an international trip. It can be difficult to get the air out of them, even when rolling as it shows. If you have too much in the bag, you can't really roll it and you just have to push on it near the bottom. There are little tiny micro-holes in the bottom edge and that is where the air escapes from. You zip it shut like a Zip-loc bag, but the white plastic tab you zip with falls off easily. I've already lost a couple of them on the first use! It's nice that they are removable so you can borrow them from another bag to close it, but it's also a bummer that you can loose them so easily. They are fairly easy to push out most of the air, but to really get all the air out and do a tight compression to fit more items, you'll need a large boyfriend to lay on it for you, haha. He did a way better job than I could! This has 2 different size options, and the large ones are quite a bit larger than I expected. I will be able to use them to store blankets at home too! A word of caution when packing for flying: when you compress your stuff really well to fit more, you run the risk of going over the weight limit for baggage on planes. Be sure to check the weight limits for your airline and weigh your bag before you go just in case! I thought of that at the last minute and found that my bag was a bit too heavy so I quickly made the decision to ditch more items. When I got to the airport it was about 1-2 pounds overweight, but they didn't charge for it because it was so close.
