Your cart is empty.After their chores are finished, many Amish enjoy a game of croquet and so can you with this handcrafted croquet set. This 8-Player Croquet set is handmade by Amish craftsmen. Each set contains hardwood maple mallets which are lathe-turned and hand painted in sectioned rings with matching colors to their corresponding balls. Two rings of polished brass adorn each end of the mallet head. The two(2) stakes are lathe-turned with multi-colored sections. The nine(9) 5/32" diameter vinyl-coated, metal wickets are very substantial and will not bend easily. The balls are made from a plastic polymer and are 3-5/16" in diameter. Each croquet set comes with a handmade wooden storage rack. The maple mallets have a head of 9-1/8" long x 2-1/8" diameter. This 8-Player Croquet Set has 32" handles. NOTE: The balls are solid color, no stripes. The decal now says: Deluxe Croquet Set.

This is an exceptionally beautiful and sturdy croquet set. All of the woodwork and paint reflect quality. All of the pieces fit together beautifully. The wickets are average, somewhat out of sync with the rests of the set, but are adequate. This is more expensive than most sets I have seen, quite a bit more than many. I think the extra cost is worth it if craftsmanship and appearance are important.

I purchased this product for my Father for Fathers Day. To start off the start and end markers were different sizes and 1 doesnt even fit in the stand. After playing for less than 30 minutes the mallods were already damaged. The wood is very soft and dents easily and the balls were chipping. We did not misuse the product, we were not slamming the balls around. This was a normal game of croquet. I am very dissappointed in the quality of this product i was hoping to purchase more durable for this price.

Mallets feel a bit light & balls feel less dense than a standard set. Expected more of a heavy duty feel especially when the product is “Amish made” in USA.

I grew up playing in the late 1970s and 80s Croquet with my familyThose were the best memories I have as a child! For Easter, we visited my sister and she has the original croquet set plus purchased one more set of her own. My sons, their cousins, and everyone else had so much fun. Since then I have been on a mission to get a set of my own. I looked online and decided to order a set on Amazon. I went for the set that was affordable, however when I received it, the quality was so poor, I returned it immediately. I kept searching and reading reviews when I finally decided to order this set, which was pricey. We ordered the 32" taller size since most of us are adults now. It works great for my husband who is 6'3". We noticed the balls are not as heavy as the original set, but way better than the first cheap set I purchased. The quality of this croquet set is superb and the stand that comes with it is beautifully made. I am so happy with this purchase! My son says it is by far the best game to play!!! So far, we have made some good memories and look forward to many more! Thank you!!!

I really like the quality of this set. I have looked for years to find a set similar to the set my Dad had back in the 60s and 70s. Our family played almost every day and had a permanent court set up using tiff grass that dad cut with a reel mower just like putting greens. I have bought several other sets that did not live up to the hype. This one is great.
