A few were broken upon arrival. They are significantly thinner than I expected. And they are a bit rough around the edges. So I wouldn't let small kids handle them on their own. But for kids age 5+, They will be decent craft sticks.

The size is larger than popsicle sticks, but I prefer the larger size. Easst to split for smaller size.

Longer length is great to make monarch butterfly stick puppets because kids have space to hold on and then flap the wings!

The craft sticks are as described and a full 8" long. I like this because I often have a tall container of paint or resin to mix and it's nice being able to stir it without getting it all over my hand. A few of the sticks were warped but that is not a problem for my use. The sticks were packaged in a lightweight plastic Ziploc bag that did not offer complete protection. There were holes where it appeared to have been scuffed and several places had the bag split open. In my case it didn't appear that any of the sticks had fallen out but the product could use better packaging for sure. The warped sticks and the poor packaging didn't have a huge effect for me so I saw no reason to give it less than 5 stars since it performs as expected.
