I love to watch the birds that visit the pond behind my house and the 7X35 HD Monocular Telescope for Adults is perfect for that. It focuses well and covers the necessary distance. It is good for short distances and for children.

It's cheap and you get what you pay for but the small bag it comes in is not even big enough to protect both ends.

The aperture is small, yielding dim images. For $6, I can't really complain!I bought as a toy for my 2yo, for which it works well. I was also hoping to use it for moon-gazing, for which it's okay. The full moon is bright enough to compensate for the small aperture. In short, as a child's toy, this works well; but for observation, spend a little more money to get something more competent.
