The sound, lights, and bounce feel are perfect. However, the pairing can be a challenge. The Fn+R is a must when connecting through USB. Establishing a wireless connection is a headache and only works on good days. However, once paired, it should work fine. Additionally, there are issues with plastic(metallic-looking) rings around the keys. They tend to break and come off easily. This does not hinder typing but may damage the aesthetically pleasing look of the keyboard.

I've been using this retro style keyboard for a few days. It looks good, it has a nice clicky sound, and the tactile feedback is perfect. The multicolor backlighting is unusual, but I like it. Bluetooth functions perfectly.

A few things about this keyboard:Pros1. If you enjoy the nostalgia of an old-fashioned typewriter, this is a great keyboard to get. The sound is lovely and the keys give you a bit of the push-back an old typewriter gives when typing, so you have the experience. It takes some getting used to for those who haven't ever used a typewriter before.2. It looks great on the desk. When I shared the photo on social media, I got a lot of great comments and feedback. It's definitely a sleek-looking piece of tech, so it'd be a great gift idea for those who love retro things or enjoy writing-related things, fun technology, or a sleek upgrade to their desk.3. Came well packaged and 75% charged up and ready to go. I had no issues connecting via bluetooth, my iMac found it right away. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and haven't had any connecting issues.4. I love that the volume knob is off to the side and the light brightness is on the other. Just by looking at it, you wouldn't know unless you've used the keyboard before.Cons1. I wish the backlit light gives you an option for all white. I'm not into the colorful light variation or having the lights flash, I just want all-white lights. Without the light, it's harder to tell which keys are what.2. Not very ergonomically designed since it lays flat on the desk. It needs to be designed with a kickstand in the back to give it height or angle. I'm a writer, so I'm typing for hours; I had to buy a separate keyboard riser for this to make it comfortable to type on for long periods. And because of the smaller size of this keyboard, if your keyboard riser doesn't have a lip that extends all the way across the bottom, it will slide off; so make sure your keyboard riser has a built-in lip that extends.3. Only if it matters to you: The keys are loud (like a typewriter), a sound that kind of bounces off the plastic body. I don't mind it, but something to be aware of if someone else in the household hates the sound of clickety-clackety keys. My husband dislikes the sound of loud keys, so I have to make sure my door is closed or type with less fervor when I'm writing at night because of a sleeping child down the hall.4. I'm not loving the fact that after a few minutes of not typing, the keyboard goes to sleep. As a writer, I'm often stopping to think about a scene or editing, and it takes 5-10 seconds for the keyboard to wake up before I can start typing again. It does this even if you have it connected via usb. Honestly, because of this feature, it would be the sole reason why I would return this product. If anyone knows of a way to turn this feature off so it's on all the time, please let me know. I would rather charge it often than have it go to sleep on me while I'm working, it really interrupts flow.Edit: It’s now December 2023, so I’ve had it for most of this year. Bluetooth stopped connecting to my computer so the only way I can use it is if it’s plugged it. Which defeats the purpose of it having wireless capabilities. Huge disappointment that bluetooth stopped working.

Well, I’m typing on this keyboard right now, and I’m having to use a wrist support or after a few minutes, I begin to experience a lot of pain in my wrists. Not sure why typing on this particular KB does that to me, I’ve never had that issue before on any KB, or typewriter I’ve ever used in the past. Also, it’s a very narrow board, not much side-to-side room, sort of makes you feel cramped.Occasionally, a key will stick, causing a rapid repeating of that particular key’s designation. You know what I mean, here’s an example: having a great timeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Now, it hasn’t happened very often, maybe 3 times in 4 months, but still.Another issue, it goes into sleep-mode, and you have to tap a key to wake it up. Why it does that, since it’s plugged in and has a constant source of power, is a little silly if you ask me and can be a bit of an annoyance at times. It’s loud. My wife can hear me typing away from another room, about 20’ away. So, if you’re in your room, typing away and someone is in close proximity trying to concentrate on something, you’re going to have to close your door or risk having something thrown at you.The keys feel pretty good, decent feedback, but they are a bit loose in that they wiggle under your fingers. The volume control is responsive, but as mentioned earlier, the KB goes into sleep-mode after a few minutes, and you have to wake it up in order to adjust the volume. Again, somewhat annoying, particularly if you’re watching a video, or listening to music and someone walks into the room and starts talking to you, it takes a few moments to wake the board and turn the volume down. The keys are very well lit, easy to see in a dark room and if you have a gaming set-up (which I do not) they make for a nice ambiance in that setting. I generally keep the room lights low, or off when at the computer, and the keys glow very nicely and are easy to see.I love the multi-device feature this KB offers. You can type on the computer, and then fairly quickly switch to another device (phone, tablet) and type on it. I had a KB previously that had that feature, and now I won’t purchase another one without it. The drawback to this feature on this KB, although it has a built-in tray for your phone or tablet at the top, it isn’t deep enough to accommodate a phone with a protective case on it. My tablet fits in the groove just fine, but the case on my phone is too thick for it, and since it’s my phone that I am most often using this feature for, I have to put my phone elsewhere, not right in front of me where I would prefer it to be. Fortunately, my phone has a built-in stand, so I can stand my phone upright, next to the KB.Overall, eh, I’m not convinced that I’d recommend this to an adult, particularly one who spends a lot of time typing on the computer. It’s a cool device for a kid who’s into gaming and wants a cool looking, flashy computer set-up, but for any real working, typing, I think a more conventional KB would be more suitable. In fact, after I’m finished with this review, I’m going back to Amazon and look for a different KB. I’ll give this one to one of my grandkids. Hope this helps. Peace.

Muy bueno para los trabajos rudos y sobre todo para los que amamos escribir.
