I bought this for a trip to NYC for the versatility of using it with our stroller or carrier. It worked well for my 3.5 year old (34in, 32lbs, 4t pants). I'm aware that we are on the upper end of the size recommendations- while we used it on both the carrier and stroller the fit was better on the carrier.In the stroller, she was able to tuck her legs in if she wanted and used the hood to cover her face- she'd pull open a middle hood snap so she could peek out. The cover was nice and soft inside and kept her cozy and warm. I do wish the attachment strap was a smidge longer since it would come undone is she kicked out.If it matters, used on a cybex libelle and a lenny lamb toddler carrier.

There seems to be no way to attach the K-Poncho strap to the carrier other than to one of the snaps intended for the hood. The manual shows a snap for the strap in-between the first and second snap intended for the hood (on each side). However, there is no snap on the actual product. Using only 3 out of the 5 hood snaps leaves 2 large openings under the hood so cold air can get in the poncho behind baby’s head. So either the design of this poncho is seriously flawed or the item I received is missing some snaps. It does not make sense to put 5 snaps on it and only use 3, leaving large holes and unused attachments.
