Replaced bellows start of season. Month later exhaust bellows came loose. I couldn't get it back on with out removing the outdrive. Bought this and it works perfectly without removing the outdrive.

This was much easier to install than the standard boot. It gives my 350 magnum a nice deep gurgle at idle and slightly deeper/louder at higher rpm. I think this is how a V8 boat should sound. I haven't noticed a change in performance.

Only time will tell if the rubber quality is equal or better than OEM. At first blush, appears to be of lesser quality

Replaced Mercruiser bellows with this exhaust tube. Easy to install and hearing no difference is use.

Gives too bassy noise, but it works. Some peole like bassy exhaust. If you want quiet exhaust go with original type, where one side goes to the transom and other side to the outdrive.

My standard exhaust bellow popped off from the lower unit side when I was doing work on the boat this spring. I had just mounted the lower unit to the gimbal housing so I didn't much feel like doing that again but also didn't want the long tube flopping all over. So I removed it and replaced it with this exhaust bellow. So far, so good! It is definitely louder because far more exhaust gas isn't going through the prop anymore so I don't I'll stick with this style next time I replace my bellows but I will keep it on hand for a quick fix should an exhaust bellow tear or fall off in the future.
