You get what you pay for. Useful for prototyping, or led dimmers. Not suitable for audio, and durability is not robust.

I needed a 10k Audio taper to replace a 50k audio taper in a Fender Frontman 65R amplifier, in order to fix this amplifier's known issue where the volume goes real loud with just a slight turn of the volume knob. The repair went perfectly. I didn't criticize this for the large assortment, because I often buy a large assortment so I have them for future needs. Buying this assortment was a choice, and for the price, I think a good one. The controls are viscous damped, smooth, and even includes hardware knobs, and dust caps.

If you purchase these comma be sure to test each one before you use them. A number of mine were defective. In the end I was able to accomplish my goal, but I'm glad I tested them first.

Total garbage. I purchased these to build some guitar pedals. So far I have had to throw away 4 out 5 and use other pot's I have laying around and then re-order from Mouser because the ones I have are too large to fit the project box for the pedal. I can use the knobs out of the kit but I need to modify the hole to fit the shafts of other pot's. What frustrated mess.

I've got a handful of guitar effects pedals I'm wanting to build and that requires potentiometers. Since the pedals are just for myself I purchased these and so far everything seems great. Some are off, but within tolerance. I feel for the price and what comes in the set it's worth it.

I got these because there is a large variety of values for a great price. These are great for testing setups and breadboarding test circuits because you can swap many different values and types for not a lot of investment. So far I have had no issues with their quality or values being too off.Once I have a finalized circuit to build a permanent circuit, I will probably go with more expensive pots, but these are perfect for the testing phase.
