Purchased these for use with an Arduino platform. They plug into the input/output rails to give a better connection to the wire for a more solid connection. The fit is much stronger the the breadboard wires with the needle type contact.

I use these terminals for connecting power and sensor communications lines to control boards. The product is of good quality and it comtains the most commonly used 2-3-4 terminal combinations.

I was gonna 5-star these when I first dropped a 3 pin one into a proto board because it fit perfectly. But then I tried some of the 2 pin ones and the head scratching began.I had to force (push really hard) to get any of the 2 pin ones to go into the through holes. The 3 pin ones are all great.See the pictures. Basically the 3 pin ones are "about right" and the 2 pin ones are universally "too big". I'll have to take some kinda tool to the 2 pin ones to make them work. Which is unfortunately not uncommon for this kind of connector.

Fits in a breadboard. Pretty standard component. As advertised.
