How to identify your pool and spa filter cartridge?
If you already know your filter cartridge's part number, please search the part number on our product page to quickly confirm whether the filter is compatible.
If you do not know the part number for your cartridge, then choosing the right cartridge can be accomplished by measuring your existing one. Use the following steps as a guide:
- Measure the outside diameter of the cartridge.(±1mm).
- Measure the overall length of the cartridge in inches (± 1/16), including the end caps. Do not include any handles, strings, etc. A more accurate measurement is made by measuring through the center of the cartridge when possible.
- If the top and/or bottom is open, measure the inside diameter of the opening (±1mm). If the end cap is closed make note of its identifying features (i.e. 'Handle', etc.).
- Make note of the manufacturer (OEM) and model number of the filter into which the replacement cartridge will be installed.
- Take note whether or not there is a center core.Also count the number of pleats (±2).

We converted our hot tub to a pool and these filters fit it perfectly. We have been able to pull them out and spray (with pressure) to clean them and put them back in for several months. I haven’t needed to replace them yet because spraying them down gets us back to them looking like new and the water is staying clean🤷♀️. Not sure if they all work this way or not. If the water starts to get dirty we may replace them, but so far they are holding up great and keeping our water clear:)

Mon spa nécessite 5 filtres #73178. Ceux-ci sont identique à ceux vendu en magasin à environ 50$ chaque. Pour l'instant il fonctionne bien et le fitting est identique à ceux du magasin local.
