The solenoid came in today and I got right to it. Installation was a breeze — everything fit like it was supposed to. Took me longer to find my tools than it did to bolt it on.Moment of truth: I hit the starter and the bike roared to life like it was happy to be back in business. No hesitation, no drama — just smooth, strong cranking. Honestly, it felt like my bike was thanking me for finally getting around to it.The chrome finish looks really nice too. I put thos on my 1984 FXST and it works great! The only issue (which could bite someone in the butt if they are inexperienced) is the poles are reversed.

no surprise there's a lot of bad solenoids out there and this being a replacement for one of them bought for a restoration installed and when the time came to wirer it was bad and out of warrantee so i got this one out of the mailbox and on to the bench put the meter on it and guess what its grounded out usps wasn't to the end of the street and i was doing a return
