Took away one star because they're NOT 1.5 inch long as shown in the product size image (3.6cm or 36mm = 1.41732in)... Should've double checked the cm/mm to inch conversion. The clasps are also thinner than the same style 1.5-inch swivel clasps I currently have so they're not as strong.

I bought these to make chapstick holders that can be attached to a wallet, purse or keychain. These were easy to work with, looked really nice and are sturdy. I've sold several of these and have had rave reviews on everything. I will be ordering more shortly

While the quality of these S-hooks is good, I want to point out a key issue: they are not truly black. In the photo I’ve uploaded, you can see a comparison with other S-hooks I purchased from another source, which are truly black. These hooks were advertised as black, but they’re more of a grayish tone.I ended up not using them because they didn’t match the color I was looking for. If you’re looking for a true black S-hook, these might not meet your expectations. I recommend considering this before purchasing.
