I use these for woodworking. They are exactly what I expected. They have the ability to sand most surfaces smooth in a variety of shapes, sizes, and finishes.

Let’s be honest, I don’t really know anyone who “loves“ hand sanding, but if you have to, it’s best to use something that will aid you in the sanding. These sanding blocks were exactly whatI needed, and I’m wondering where they have been the last 10 years!These are quality foam blocks, with a good composition, not too hard not too soft. I’ve used them on various different projects, everything from automotive to a hardwood project using black walnut. The various designs you receive in the kit allow you to pick the right sanding block for your needs. They function extremely well and you to easily get more oomph out of each sanding stroke. I’m all about using elbow grease to create a quality product, but I’m getting a little older now and I’ll take all the help I can get. I usually turn to the electric sander, but when that isn’t an option these blocks make my life a whole lot better. If anything changes, I’ll come back and edit my post, but for now I definitely recommend checking them out!

Being in the auto body field for many past years along with remodeling which inc plaster n drywall work along with the many wood projects encountered thru a lifetime n no thou not a youngin - still not retiring from any of the fields above any time soon. Thru that time have acquired n used many different types of sanding tools n accessories of which this type (classified as either) has always produced very good results. Currently have a 6pc air force kit - along with a couple 11" and 22" flat board types (all 'dura-block' branded). This kit from Gasoray being also composed of EVA rubber - (so far so good) - the main diff found being due to its density - dura-block's 100% 20pcf - all others use a mix or have more porosity so 'dura-block' remains the renowned fave due to the higher quality of just that - side by side can feel the diff - thou its pretty close. After all - dura-block has patents listed all over their products so often imitated can not b duplicated. Hence the higher $$$ tag for the premium benefits reaped from their usage - they'll simply outlast all others. With that said - the dura-blocks above can b used with 'hook n loop' vs psa and non-stick normal papers. (hook n loops adhere n can b re-used - psa is basically a one use adhering deal - and all know of non-stick wrap around to hold).The kit here in question : thou not for 'hook n loop' - will take the abuse of psa or any normal non-adhesive backed by wrappin type papers - can also b used wet or dry - just remember these'll no doubt also breakdown a bit sooner than the top of the line. IF not used all the time (as if for occupational reasons) - is when a set of this caliber comes into play as a next best option - and a gooood deal is found right here which includes a really nice variety of different styles n sizing. For all the reasons scribbled above - this Gasoray kits a bit better in value than others in the price range - just dont go thinkin you've got the best out there in yur hands and knock these for what they aren't - the listed price point is a good deal found.

I have not had cause to use -every- piece of the kit yet, but I am very pleased with this kit so far.I've used this to assist with contour sanding on wood and drywall, in addition to some bodywork on my wife's daily driver. I have been using a tiny bit of spray adhesive on the sandpaper just for extra grip, but overall these blocks are excellent.Overall, very nice set. Quite happy with their performance.

This 7 PC Sanding Block Kit by Gasoray is very well made and super versatile.It comes with every kind of sanding block one would possibly need to take on most any hand sanding project. I ordered these specifically to tackle restoring a Slat Mid Century bench. Sanding between the slats was challenging and thinking back to my younger days of working in an Auto body shop I thought to order these for the job called for a specialized sanding block.These sanding blocks are made very well and every sanding block within this assortment is actually usable. Too often assortment kits include useless items so I'm pleased that's not the case here. These sanding blocks are intended for automotive use so they're large but can be cut in half to be better utilized for wood restoration use.Overall I'm very pleased with these. The build quality is superb and the price is value is good in more ways than one!

I won't know if they update the listing after I write this review but this uses specialty self-adhesive pads/paper so while the blocks themselves are solid tools it's useless and much less a kit without the paper that is necessary for them. I can't really evaluate this at full stars as result. A shame really.

Enough kids driving cars and I'm usually fixing scratches, bumper rubs, or dings. You can work without shaped sanding blocks, but unless you are trying to finish a flat panel, having shaped blocks brings better results without rework.In this set I've used the round, and shorter blocks the most, because I'm usually fixing smaller areas. The teardrop profile is also useful, but a bit long. I've cut it in half to make it easier to use for detail work. They are well made and not deteriorating after a few uses wet. The pressure tape does a good job keeping the paper in place, as long as you keep it clean and not fouled with sanding dust. But if it gets dirty, you can just wash it off -- it's a pressure adhesive, not a glue.I like the set -- I wish it came with a sack or case to keep them together and clean. I've kept the box for storage until I can pick up something appropriately sized.
