The very first thing that I noticed was that the color is not quite black, but more of a dark brown. That being said, this is an excellent stand with so many possibilities! It's very sturdy, weighing just over 2 lbs, and the tea light holder underneath has a bit of a lip to keep it securely in place. It makes a great trivet, tealight warmer, and a beautiful plant stand. I absolutely love this!

Is it a trivet for a hot dish? Is it a plant stand? Is it a teapot warmer? Is it a tea light holder? It’s all of those things! This is a very attractive and versatile piece. It is made of solid cast iron. Know that the legs and candle shelf all are attached with visible screws. However, the screw heads are the same color as the iron and are not at all an eye sore. We plan to use it as a decorative piece, but will enlist its capable abilities for entertaining purposes, as needed. Whether you’re someone who decorates with metal, or who loves to cozy up with a pot of tea, this is for you.
