I love that this stencil exists! It made my job so much easier when making a wooden growth chart. The stencils are quite thick and durable. I will get many uses out of them. I taped them down quite well but the first paint I used wasn’t working well so I switched paint types and due to 4-5 coats it bled quite a bit and I had a ton of clean up. I can’t say it was the stencils fault though. I soaked the stencils in hot soapy water for about 30 minutes after use and they look brand new again.

Very happy with this stencil. Correct measurements. Durable enough to last many paint jobs. Some were different color plastic papers but that makes no difference to me. Some of the edges were not Steiger, ok just took a little extra to line them up. User error on my first one, paint was to thick so it had a bit of bleed through under the stencil. But I ended up using a stipple brush with very light acrylic paint. That was the neatest way I found. Left 6”of the stencil hanging off the bottom so that I could hang this on the wall.I am very happy and will be using this stencil for many projects.

They worked great. Mine were 100% accurate, no modifications needed.Any stencil this large, with this many holes, and no adhesive will bleed through if painted directly on top.I decided to go the router and hand-painted option. I 1. Bought a 2x8x10 untreated pine board (Lowes), 2. Sanded (60 grit then 220) then used stencils to trace in pencil and route 3. Hand painted the numbers & markings with latex black paint (little can from Lowes), 4. Conditioned and stained the wood, 5. Sealed with polycrylic. 6. Hung with T-lock picture frame security hinges so it won't come off the wall by a curious toddler.*I bought a $60 router and $20 bits from Harbor Freight just for this project. It was the first project I used it on and it was not that difficult (with some practice on scrap wood). It took me 6 total days to make, each step above was one day. It's a forever project, it takes time to make it last forever.You don't have to use a router, but I suggest tracing and hand painting over painting/spraying directly over the plastic, as you will get bleed through.I also suggest starting at 8 inches, and hanging it 8 inches off the ground. If you have any floor moldings, it will not hang flat on the wall starting at 0.

They were good quality stencils but the number 3 wasn’t in there. Also the paint bled under the stencil.
