I added these to my expanding list of items that I'm using for for unintended purposes. I plan to use these for wood or possibly plastic for enlarging or clearing tiny holes when working in my train room. Not sure if I'll need them but I'm prepared if I do. I did have a problem trying to open the box. I believe that it is intended that you break a small plastic tab on the end of the container to make one accessible. This would then be repeated for each file.

This is an odd item that caught my eye - I’m certainly not a dentist doing root canals LOL. But I do sometimes build models and 3D print things, and these little guys make great micro needle files for detailed work with wood or plastics models, and perhaps jewelry making or repair.

Price-wise, it's on par with other budget files from dental supply house.It performs about as well as other budget files, which is fine for most uses.
