I got this because I saw people bring this to a pool hall saying it was much better than the rack at the hall. When lining up the 15 balls I had to individually, gently, place in each one and hop the didn't roll off while I was doing it. One rolls a tiny bit and you have to start all over again. Then something about it is you keep it under the balls when you break. Seemed interesting but then after the break it's still in the place so any balls that are left over the space are still under the balls. Certainly can't pick up the balls to take it off. Are we supposed to keep it there for the entire game. A big waste of money.

I don't understand why none of my pool leagues don't require their use.I sometime see people complain they "not all the balls touch". If find that depends on the bar I'm at, or the specific set of balls I'm handed at the pool hall. If I move "trouble balls" around, I can always get all the balls to touch -- an MUCH better than I can with any standard triangle rack.Most breaks, all the balls clear the rack and you can just pick it up after. I HAVE seen it deflect moving balls but only when a ball is almost coming to a complete stop as it touches the rack. I have a much worse time with "table roll" when it counts, rolling into a pocket. Hell, I've seen divets where people who tap the head ball of a rack into place that cause more deflection than these racks.My only complaint is they do not necessarily help your practice if you always end up having to use standard racks during league play -- especially in leagues where the oponent racks for you. A "perfect rack" for every practice game does not translate over to the "crappy racks" you have to break in actual game play.

Balls sit nice and still in the diamonds cut in the super thin mylar film. The accurately cut templates give tight racks and don't interfere with balls rolling over them after the break. Remove them from the table when clear. These should last unless you fold them and they get creased. Three of each template came well packaged and didn't suffer any damage in shipping.Good value! Try them!
