Didn't fit at first, water bypassed the filter. Somehow that problem went away, but I don't know how. The current problem is taste. Our city water has won the Best in Glass award from the American Water Works Association. We may not need to filter our watEr, but it's something we've always done. It tastes perfect from the tap. With these filters, the water has a noticeable chlorine taste, as if the filter added it. Another commenter said the same thing. Henceforth, I'll buy genuine Brita filters.

Do not buy these! They are a faulty low end replica of actual Britta filters. That might be fine if properly manufactured, but every one of these leaked charcoal profusely, making the water black. I had to throw them all away.Buy these real thing and avoid my error.

They took a while for the water to filter through, but they removed all of the yucky flavor from my tap water! I’m very pleased!
