If you're planning to use this adhesive as a glue to hold carpet down, chewing gum might work better. I also purchased this adhesive as a companion to the large hypodermic needle applicator since it was matched with that item in the display ad. That was also a mistake since the consistency is too thick and gooey to pass through the tip of the needle. I ended up returning the product.
