Update: They sent a new one faster than expected and it actually worked! This machine does a decent job. I have only used it 10ish times. The battery lasts a decent amount of time but if it starts to get low at all, the suction is horrible. It does have to charge for several hours and doesn't seem to work well even if it's plugged in when the battery is only partly charged. For the most part my goats seem comfortable with it. For the price it does a good job. I'm still going to be saving up for a more expensive one now that I know how convenient it is to have.Old Review: Huge waste of money and time trying to figure this out. Now I have to deal with returning it. Ended up that it’s not working. Took it all apart and had my husband try. Still not working. Charges it overnight. Still not working. I should have spent the money and went with the one off caprine supply.

There is no suction. It doesnt create vacuum, it doesnt pulse like its supposed to, doesnt suction onto the teat at all, not enough suction for a drop of milk even. Contacted the company for support. Will probably be returning it, but wanted to give them a chance to correct the issue. Will update when I hear back - or decide to return.

Je l'utilise depuis près de 10 mois pour traire mes chèvres et elle fonctionne a la perfection. Au début j'ai de la difficulté a faire tenir le joint dans le couvercle, mais en l'insérant dans l'autre sens il tient très bien en place, je trait 2 chèvres matin et soir et j'ai besoin de le recharger environ au 3 semaines.Très belle et très fonctionnelle.Merci

I found the cow size teats to be too big and not stay on so they sent me the goat ones which are a lot better in many ways, including thicker hoses. I had some trouble with the pump and they sent me a new one although it took several weeks to get it. It sure isn't an industrial one like a regular farmer would have but it seems to do the trick for my one cow. I like that it is lightweight and portable and rechargeable. I moved across the country and used it to milk the cow in the hotel parking lot - worked slick. I like that I can take it to wherever the cow is and not have necessarily bring the cow to the milking machine. I recharge it every Sunday as a matter of course, just so it doesn't run out of power. It could be plugged in if it did lose charge, still would work. Two thumbs up for this little lightweight machine!

So I want to say like every first time dairy cow mama, I had dreams of hand milking. Well, a few days in I realized it takes a long time to milk out and she was kicking, pulling out of the stanchion as soon as her food was done. We were not emptying her fast enough and going through way too much feed. I researched and decided on this one since we were calf sharing. It was great and delivered exceptionally fast without prime. We milked the left and he milked the right. It worked for months because she wouldnt let down for us unless he was nursing. I had ordered a second one in case the first broke. Fast forward to 6 months in and we decided to wean him amd put a nose ring in. We opened the second milker and now use both. They work great. I ordered a third for the same reason as the second. These milkers are tough. They withstand kicking them off and being stepped on. If there's a hole in a tube somewhere you can snip it off or replace with some of the extra tubing they give. My son set it up wrong once and milk was going in the machine. I stopped it, fixed it and shook it out and all is fine. I made that mistake a few months back and it recovered well. I dont know how but they both work great. I've researched more expensive milkers, 500$-1000$ and these are the easiest to clean and are perfect for someone with unreliable electricity. Just charge it after a few milkings. My only request is that they make a 4 teet milker. These are wonderful especially if one quarter had mastitis. I just milk that one into one milker and the 2 higher producers first in the second then when one is empty move it to the 4th teet. It works very well and I am happy to have now bought 3 of these wonderful savers. Anyone that says it's junk either doesnt realize it has a hole in the tubing or is not making sure to clamp and take off when the teet is done. Any milker will ruin a teet if left on after emptied. Milking only takes 10-15 minutes and I am able to brush and spray with homemade fly spray while it's milking. Truly a blessing we found this milker when we did.

The milker is made if good quality materials:surely not the regular chinese style.all the pipes,bucket ,motor made well.the battery supply and variable suction power are very useful features: the suction power should be set according to the goat udder.younger goats need much less suction. I was not sure if it works week when ordered it: now I definitely recommend it.worth the money.In walmart the same product is 70 buks cheaper though,but their return policy is very bad as well.the product i use is 6l goat style.
