The flame kept getting snuffed out by the water pan as it was too tall for the standard hot dish racks. We tried adjusting the aluminum water pan so the flame stayed lit, but it barely heated the food. Stick with the gel sternos.

Bought these for cold weather emergencies to just heat up some coffee water. Making sure I don't poison myself doing it indoors.
