Nice heavy cable. The ends fit through each other so it easily loops around something to secure it. I use mine to keep my dinghy attached to the yacht. The cable runs through the outboard grab handle, then through the gas tank handle, through a D-ring on the dinghy and up to the pushpit on the yacht. Anything is defeatable but this cable will take some time and noise to cut through, thieves hopefully look for an easier mark.

So far so good. It’s definitely thicker than most other options out there and feels very solid. Long enough to strap around a pole to tether my generator in one big loop.

Great product it would be nice and better if the metal clamps were rubberized to prevent scratching our bikes. I used tape to wrap it. I would order again

Cable is thickest I've ever purchased. I bought a heavier duty lock to go with it.So far I haven't had any problems with keeping my bikes secured.ORDERED A SECOND 15' CABLE DEC. 02 CYBER MONDAY. ITEM SHOWED IN STOCK FOR 2 DAY DELIVERY. 2 DAYS LATER CABLE DELAYED UNTIL DEC. 21st. NOW IT'S DEC.21 AND I GET A MESSAGE IT WILL BE DELAYED UNTIL JAN.25 OR LONGER. VERY UNRELIABLE COMPANY I CANCELED ORDER.

This is a great cable. I bought this to lock a bikes when in my truck using a tailgate rack. I would not trust this for all day security, but for quick rest stops on trips - this will make the bikes a bit harder to grab. The cable is long enough to stretch across the bed of the truck where I use two locks attached to the hold down loops. It is heavy, so you will not want to carry this with you. It can certainly be cut with the right tools, but this will make it harder. It does not roll up very small, so if you are going to carry this on a bike, you need a trunk, panier or back-pack.

Review of: **Vascer Bike Lock Cable - 6ft (1/2") Commercial Heavy-Duty Bike Cable with Looped Ends, Anti-Theft PVC Coated Braided Security Steel Cable for Motorcycle, Ladder, Mower, Gate, Patio Outdoor Equipment**I was actually surprised at how beefy this cable is when I first opened the package. Very heavy, very thick, and the crimp holding the loop together is absolutely massive. I took a picture comparing it to my Kryptonite security cable and you can see how it dwarfs in comparison to this Vascer cable. I didn't try to cut through this thing, but if any cable is going to work, this will be the one.I've been using it to secure a couple of expensive mountain bikes in my truck bed when transporting, and love the yellow PVC coating to call out the fact that the bikes are secured with this beast of a cable. It should deter most potential thieves before they even try messing with it.I only have two cons with this Vascer cable - the lock crimps are not covered in vinyl or with a sleeve, and 6 feet is borderline too short. These are fairly minor issues, but the only reason I dropped from 5 to 4 stars. If neither of those are a big issue to you, then you should love this heavy-duty lock cable.
