Feels much cheaper than expected, purchased four and three work, range is closer to 6 meters, not even close to 8 meters at max voltage. They are direct signal much like a 90's toy rc car, so don't expect to have accurate speed control. For kids projects this would be perfect. But I have no use for these as they are not as advertised.

This little unit exceeded my expectations! I purchased a couple of similar receivers that I use to controll several functions on my modified trolling motor. The only differences are the prior ones are 2ch and I had to connect them via relays as the amperage was insufficient to power the devices without them. On the other hand, these are specified to handle 5 amps. I have a remote controlled steering, speed control and a linear actuator for depth adjustment. I wanted to test this out to make sure it would be suitable before I installed it so I connected directly to the linear actuator because that draws the most amps. I also have to keep the buttons pushed for an extended time as it's a low speed actuator with a 12" throw. After about 6 minutes of continuous use,I checked the mosfit on the receiver and it wasn't even warm! The other ones I've been using for a couple years now and have never had any problems so far. This seems to be made just as good so I expect these will be trouble free also. These are little power houses!
