Exact replacement for Braun-Nutone fan/motor assy. in our bathroom exhaust fan. Fit perfectly and only took a minute to install. It is listed as being 2.0 Sone. It is not any less quiet than the original 4.0 sone one that I replaced.However, the plastic fan blades are thinner material so the pitch of the noise is higher.Works well but don't pay extra for a quieter motor.
