OK! I could have used a very large trash bag for my fountain. It would have sufficed for the winter. When I ordered this I didn't realize how large it really was....... or I didn't realize how small my fountain was. I can say about this fountain cover that it is very well made and heavy duty. It has a tie around the bottom and can be pulled closed so the critters don't start making their winter home inside. I highly recommend you get the measurements of your fountain before ordering this one. I do have a large fountain in front of the house but I keep a heater in it so the water doesn't freeze. WHO KNOWS? Maybe I'll start shopping for a large fountain for the back yard and keep the wife happy. Very solid pick for a large fountain cover and I highly recommend it.

I ordered this cover for our concrete bird bath, and it is huge! I needed to use a bungee cord to fasten around the base of the bird bath, otherwise, it would blow away in a strong wind. And because it is much longer than my actual bird bath, it kind of drags on the ground and the cinch cord that is built into the bottom doesn’t work because the cover is so long. This is my fault as I did not measure before ordering. But all-in-all, it should do the job of protecting our concrete bird bath from the harsh winter weather.
